A Communication Facilitator

I have always had a passion for languages. I remember being around six when I was first fascinated by the way words could go together in another language to give me a different way to say what I wanted to say.   This led me to study Spanish, then Japanese, and finally Russian in college.

On the surface, you may not see how my languages could benefit your organization.  However, with each language I internalized more about English, I learned a new body language, I practiced understanding people with a limited bank of words to work with- this all makes me excellent at not only understanding what is being said verbally, but also what is being said non-verbally and what is being left unsaid, but still lies between the lines.

Being an excellent communicator makes me a great member of any team, as it makes it easy for me to understand the perspectives of my colleagues, my bosses and my clients in a way that allows me to put my problem solving skills to use to apply collective skills and resources towards finding the best possible solution for all involved.

Communication is even more important in sales.  In any sales capacity, I am quick to uncover and understand my clients’ challenges.  Once I understand how I can make my client’s life easier, or make my client’s business better, it is then a short jump to convincing them that the solution I am proposing (and selling) is a good investment.
